If he loses the roof rack he'll also lose all that down force in the corners.

I’m in your camp. Jodie is good, and could be great with a better writing team behind her.

Chicagoan here, and the deep dish pizza debate is so fucking boring. Don’t like it? Don’t eat it.

Fyi, you don’t pay at the vehicle tax rate. The IRS treats the truck as income, and you need the fair market value of the truck to figure out how much income he’s gained. Say the truck is worth $30k, and figuring he’s making about $25k per year right now, his tax liability on the truck would be about $6k (before

A cesna can take off at about 60 mph, i.e. highway speeds. Now obviously there’s a big difference between a winged plane and a car, but the curve of the roof isn’t too far off... And once the seal on the front of the roof starts letting in some air, It’s not long before some lift is being generated... At which point

Yep...that was a combustible mix.  I’m sure much of what made them great also caused their schisms.

This sucks. A lot. Like many Gen X’ers, spent lots of time alone in my room dreaming of greater things backed by EVH solos. Only got to see VH once, I think it was about 10 years ago. The DLR reunion was fun...but no Michael Anthony on bass. Anyway, Rest in Radness EVH.

Lots of think pieces floating right now but no real answer since this is unprecedented. That said, the 25th amendment only applies to removing the president if he’s incapacitated/dead. It doesn’t address what to do with a nomination.

I just started rewatching Jackass because my boys are 10 and 12 (they love it). Personally, I think it’s far superior to 99% of the YouTube/Tik Tok dreck... And I’ve seen a shit ton of dreck (again, I have 10 and 12 year old boys).

Mis-read original post: thought you said buy a new one and get the $7500 credit.

I may be mistaken, but I think Tesla hit its quota, and the federal tax credit is gone (or reduced).  There may be other credits on the state level (depending on where you live), but I'm pretty sure the $7500 credit is gone.

I will eat just about anything, but this recipe literally highlights maybe my two least favorite ingredients: tuna and olives. Olives I can stomach if they’re mixed in with enough other ingredients (i.e. a muffaletta), but canned tuna is a never for me.

Sort of? I think you could maybe put it in the alternate reality genre, where everything is the same except for one thing. Daniel Levy has talked about how he and the writers made a conscious decision to ensure there were no homophobia storylines. They got close once, but did an excellent 180 in the most Schitt’s

So the customers of these five vehicles will be paying a premium in order to advertise multi-billion dollar corporations* and businesses on their cars; and in the case of Tokyo Ueno Clinic, a plastic surgery center that focuses on procedures for men’s dongs.

You really should give it another chance. Like others have said, the first season is good but it’s a lot of foundation laying (and it can be a little hackey).

Was just in Copper Harbor a month ago, and coincidentally posted this pic up thread (sorry for any double posting):

Saw a similar sign in Copper Harbor in the upper peninsula of michigan this summer:

This may be a stupid question, but does it have to be oriented like a tower? I have to assume it can be laid on its side (like virtually every counsel before it), but those curves make me wonder a bit.

How much for an order of ribs?

Their food is serviceable, but their cherry limeades are a complete revelation on a hot summer day. The fact that they use real limes and lime juice...and yes the ice,* it all adds up.
