I agree that any profits from finishing the game should go to paying their former employees until that obligation has been satisfied.

Same here. I pre-ordered the Croft Edition because I knew I was going to want the DLC. The early access was just a nice little bonus.

Something else to note is that the long-awaited Visage (a spiritual successor to P.T.) hits Steam Early Access on October 2nd.

Yeah, it felt off with Shadow of the Tomb Raider too. People who ordered the Deluxe Edition or the Croft Edition got to play the game two days early. I mean, hey, that’s cool and all, but being able to play the game maybe a week early would be a much bigger draw.

I haven’t bought a single episode of The Walking Dead in a very long time, so I don’t have a dog in this hunt.

Maybe you’ve heard something I haven’t, but I doubt Telltale is in any position to issue refunds.

Are you sure the customers can get refunds? Maybe you’ve heard something I haven’t, but I doubt Telltale is in any position to issue refunds. And would Microsoft, Sony, Valve, etc. really be willing to take the entire brunt of those refunds themselves?

Their former employees are obviously more important.

I want them to pay their former employees first too. But if they can only take care of their customers right now, then I think they should. At least they’ll be doing right by somebody.

I know a lot of people don’t like the notion that Telltale is trying to find a way to complete episodes 3 and 4 of this season of The Walking Dead before paying their former employees the 60 days of severance pay they appear to be due (based on the California law that required them to give their employees a 60-day

I’m going to wait on Red Dead Redemption II until I can get the Special Edition for the price of the Standard Edition (or less). I haven’t even finished Red Dead Redemption, so I’m fine with waiting.

Jumping Flash is one of my favorite PS1 games. It’s hard to get first-person platforming right, but that game pulled it off.

I consider Jumping Flash kind of an obscure title, but that one is already confirmed for it. So who knows?

According to what I’ve read, Twitch takes 50% of subscription money. They don’t touch donations.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think YouTube takes a 30% cut of stream donations. That alone would be enough to drive streamers away from the platform.

Considering the lack of a Virtual Console on Switch, I think a lot of people would be thrilled if that were the case.

I have a feeling that Anthem is going to be the victim of a long development cycle. Had Anthem been released in 2015, I think it would have been an interesting alternative to Destiny and a nice stopgap while we waited for Mass Effect: Andromeda. But the Destiny franchise has rapidly lost steam, and battle royale seems

I’ll be jumping into more No Man’s Sky (Xbox One version in my case). I’ve been into sci-fi since I was a kid, so a massive game about space exploration is pretty much the game I always wanted. And with this newest NEXT update, No Man’s Sky seems to be the game that a lot of people wanted to see back in 2016. Good on
