The Blu-ray drive in the PS3 would have been great if they had kept the price of the console down to, say, $400. Unfortunately, I get the impression that at that point in time, Sony cared more about Blu-ray winning the hi-def war than they cared about giving their customers an affordable console. It worked: HD DVD was

As long as it’s at least as powerful as the Xbox One, I think Nintendo might have a massive winner on their hands. The Wii U was starving for third-party support. But if the NX matches or surpasses the Xbox One in terms of power, we could see third-party AAA ports to the NX for at least the next few years. Imagine

Superman 3 scared me when I was a kid. This scene right here? Terrifying.

I didn’t think it would be coming to PS4 at all. Was Sony barred from announcing that until just now, or did they not secure the game until just now? If they could have announced this way before now but kept a lid on it all this time, then I don’t know what they were thinking. I imagine there are quite a few PS4-only

Pure speculation on my part. If NX ends up being at least as powerful as Xbox One, then I imagine a port would be possible. Actually, if it’s merely close to the Xbox One in terms of power, we could still see a port that maintains the same graphical fidelity but at a reduced resolution. (And a reduced resolution

I’ve traded in most of my physical Wii U games. I know it’s a dead console. I had a lot of fun with it and I’m still hanging onto it for the digital games I have on there, but I’m looking to what will hopefully be a bright NX future. (Please be a portable Xbox One. I’d love to play Mass Effect: Andromeda on the go.)

In my opinion, the NX needs to be as powerful as the Xbox One for third-party support. The Xbox One is going to be supported well after Scorpio hits next year; so as long as the NX is at least that powerful, developers would be able to port their AAA titles to it. Imagine playing Mass Effect: Andromeda on the go. It

To clarify, what I’m talking about is the Play and Charge Kit. In my opinion, every Xbox One wireless controller should come with one.

I think Nintendo absolutely has to knock it out of the park with the NX. If the Tegra reports are right, then I think Nintendo really needs to have the most advanced Tegra chip inside so that they can basically turn it into a portable Xbox One that features Nintendo games. That would be pretty incredible.

Kind of ridiculous that every single Xbox One controller doesn’t come with a rechargeable battery pack. This is 2016, not 2005. Even the uber-expensive Elite controller doesn’t come with a rechargeable battery pack. Absolutely absurd.

I’m actually sorry to hear that the new series is taking place in the Prime universe because the Discovery looks like a Romulan Warbird and the Enterprise had a baby, which could indicate a Federation/Romulan alliance (which I think is more likely in the Abrams universe). Imagine the reaction of the Romulan people

I don’t think fines should be a part of the American justice system except in select circumstances where you have no other option (like if a person can’t perform community service because of a disability or family obligations). Fines from the major ones all the way down to minor traffic fines are blatantly unfair.

Once you understand that the “X” actually comes from DirectX, the name becomes a lot less silly. Maybe they were trying to appeal to the XTREME crowd with that name, but at least it was rooted in technology.

The drunkenness alone should be enough of a reason for him to lose his sponsorship, so I think they made the right decision.

When it comes to molestation, eyewitness claims are really all you can go on unless something happens to have been captured on a surveillance video. And the eyewitness stuff seems to be pretty solid here. On top of that, his behavior kind of makes sense when you consider that he was heavily intoxicated at the time.

I agree that he shouldn’t be paying penalties. After all, people do mess up in ways that shouldn’t result in serious consequences. I’m just saying that I think he messed up from an ethical standpoint.

Apples and oranges. You can die if you take medication without reading the intended dosage. Nothing bad is going to happen to you if you watch a YouTube video without reading the description. I would say that this is more like playing a video game without first reading the instruction manual. A lot of people don’t,

They should have called it the Actual Console.
