    I think they just didn’t realize how incredibly lucky they got with the Wii. Such a lackluster console should not have sold as well as it did, but its new-for-the-time motion controls increased its novelty factor to the point where loads of people wanted to have one in their home for Wii Sports sessions with family…

    One thing I would like to do is play Mass Effect 2 and 3 with the first game’s insane level of customization. That was one of my favorite things about the first game.

    I agree that this is a good move, especially considering that the Rift is a PERIPHERAL and not a console. Peripheral exclusivity doesn’t make sense. You may as well have a non-VR PC game that can only be played with an Xbox One controller and can only be played on a ViewSonic monitor.

    It’s a shame you apparently didn’t have a chance to play the rhythm violence game ‘Thumper’ (PS4, PS VR, and Steam). That game looks pretty incredible.

    I can’t say I disagree with anything you’re saying. I think Microsoft and Sony both had an “oops” moment when they realized that they had released badly under-powered hardware for this console generation.     It’s hard for me to say why I prefer domed. Maybe your reasoning is right. I just know that I like the way it feels. It’s one of my favorite things about the Wii U Pro Controller. The default Xbox One analog sticks are fine, but domed would be ideal.

    Wait, so this is purely aesthetic? I won’t get to, say, have them make me a controller with domed analog sticks? Sure that would eat into their Elite controller sales, but I’d like to have that option so that I wouldn’t have to pay $150 for an Elite controller for just one feature.

    Unfortunately, we’ve already seen this with the 3DS and New 3DS. Hyrule Warriors: Legends runs at a pretty solid 30 fps on the New 3DS, but it hovers around 20 fps on the original 3DS.

    As a property, Fable had become a joke. I wasn’t looking forward to Legends simply because Fable has seemingly continued to get worse since the first game. (And the first game is one of my favorite original Xbox games.)

    I assume this means that it’ll eventually hit PC. I’ve never owned a PlayStation console after the original PlayStation, so XII on PC would mean that I would finally be able to play all three of the Final Fantasy games I missed during the PS2 era (X, X-2, and XII).

    I saw one funny moment during a beta playthrough. An enemy had been knocked down to a lower level and the player followed. Rather than fight the player down on that level, the enemy actually climbed back to the upper level (presumably because the AI was trying to get back up to where it “belonged"). It was an absurd…
