I think this Game Gear versus Game Boy one is a classic. The Game Boy sound effects are what really make it work.

Resident Evil 6 is one of my favorites. The huge amount of content in that game alone is pretty incredible. If Resident Evil 6 had been made today, then at least some of that content might have ended up as DLC.
It’s a sweet-looking controller, but it’s still just a controller. In my opinion, it shouldn’t cost more than $100.

It’s a pretty incredible game. I’ve logged more than 100 hours with the PC version. And Snow Day is apparently being brought back. (I love that mode.)
Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda game. So it’s a shame that Twilight Princess HD is such a lackluster remaster. I think it deserved more of an overhaul like what Wind Waker received.
I know that. I’m saying that what Sony did would be like Nintendo removing the 3D screen from ALL 3DS models. In other words, all 3DS systems would be like the 2DS.
I think Sony gave up on the Vita a long time ago. That was evident to me when they replaced the OLED screen with an LCD screen (probably to save on manufacturing costs). This would have been like Nintendo getting rid of the 3D screen in all 3DS models. It’s not crucial to enjoying games, but it’s a big selling point…
The price is fine if it’s a standalone device. $800 for an add-on? No thank you.

Did Rise of the Tomb Raider become a better game because of Microsoft’s money? Maybe it didn’t make any difference.
But the advantage of going with the Xbox One version is that everybody is going to be on equal footing. When it comes to PS4/PC crossplay, it’s my understanding that PC players often have a frame rate advantage.
I’ve gotten so accustomed to using a Wii U Pro Controller to play it on PC that using an Xbox One controller would feel weird. I think I’ll stick to the PC version, but I’m glad that people who don’t have a gaming PC and only have an Xbox One as their current gen console will be getting a chance to play it.
Good. That’s what I prefer.
Firewatch — PC, PS4, Xbox One
I’m looking forward to Firewatch too. The mix of humor and drama reminds me of a Joss Whedon show.
There’s an “Origin” symbol right on the pre-order button for the PC version on the game’s official website, so it looks like it’s Origin-only. Do you have a PS4 or an Xbox One? It’s also coming to those.
I’ll be playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and possibly That Dragon, Cancer. I’ve already played That Dragon, Cancer all the way through; but I have things I want to say about it, so I’d like to record myself as I run through it again.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It’s one of my favorite games of the last generation. I like that you can choose a guns-blazing style of play or a stealthy no-kill style, and I also like the RPG elements. As for the story and atmosphere, it’s basically Blade Runner in video game form.
I bought the 8 GB Wii U for $250 back in 2014. I wanted to at least keep all the Smash updates on the system, but I discovered that this latest update (which is oddly huge) makes it so that the Smash updates won’t fit in the system’s memory even if nothing else is stored there.
One of those Cloud users might have been me. I don’t normally go for the sword-wielding characters, but I really like Cloud. His moves go very well with my aggressive fighting style.
