I imagine that’s how Darth Vader really might have looked if the character had been created in this day and age.

Oh. Well that fixes that, then. Thanks for the info.

One thing I noticed in the graphics comparison video is something I’ve noticed a lot in Xbox One games: the so-called “crushing” blacks. Personally, I think it has improved the look of Xbox One games (creating deeper blacks that result in a more realistic look), and this is no exception. Take a look at this close-up

Ah, looks like the article was edited to say Gears 2 instead.

If they’ll make Gears 2 available sometime soon, I’ll have the entire set in digital form.

If you’re trying to show off a game and its main selling point is that it’s an HD version of an older game, you’re going to want it on display in a 1080p video.

Kholat and Never Alone would seem to be weather-appropriate choices.

I don’t have much time to get people together to raid, and I don’t have many friends who play Destiny, which further complicates things.

I’m wanting to play That Dragon, Cancer this weekend. That’s not going to be an easy one.

I don’t like it either, but I imagine it’s too expensive for them to make gear for both men and women right now. And it would probably be too expensive for the average family to buy both male and female gear anyway. It would be nice if we had affordable VR gear for both sexes right now, but I think it’s going to be

I didn’t even think about that. I was thinking that maybe one of his daughters is a Nintendo fan.

Adi Roberston lamented the lack of consideration VR tech has for the size and shape of women, reflecting how her gender is often an afterthought.

I can understand wanting to swap 3 and 4 and 6 and 7. Really, for me, 3 just edged out 4, and 6 just edged out 7. As great as First Contact is, The Voyage Home just edges it out in my mind because it’s such a fun and quirky time travel movie that it can actually give Back to the Future some competition in that area.

I grant you that Into Darkness was pretty bad, but I don’t think anything outdoes the badness that was Nemesis. Here’s how I would rank the films:

I respectfully disagree with your Halo 3 and Mass Effect 3 choices.
