Not sure if this a plus or a minus for me, but I saw a Tuvan-throat singing group of monks perform live in 2006 or so.

Livin On the Edge is better than all the ballads on that album.
I’ve always been partial to Zero Boys’ version.
High school and college aged people? Lots of cross-over.
My grocery store plays Built to Spill, Pavement, Postal Service, Grandaddy, Arcade Fire, Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, etc. That makes me sad in a whole different way. I guess my favorite genre is grocery store-core.
Goddamnit I now see I misread your comment. Ironic since the way I read your comment was that you missed the other post’s sarcasm.
Right, that was the point of the comment, which was in response to someone saying, “well his wife would have died one way or another, regardless of the weapon of choice.”
I thought Sausage Party was pretty fucking funny. Strays looks bad. The writing in this article is abysmal.

Aldean doesn’t even romanticize them when there are $$$ to be had, hence an earlier single of his, “Rearview Town”. He also didn’t even write either of them because he’s a talentless hack. Interestingly, though, 2 of the 4 songwriters on Try That in a Small Town were also writers of Rearview Town!
