I had a chance to meet Dan Gurney at Laguna back in 2010. Sadly, we were being pushed through by his manager? Whatever she was, she was very rude. That being said, he was light on his speaking, and very cordial, and man for being 79 at the time, he didn’t look it, even my wife said he was quite handsome. He was an

It’s becoming current theme, should a vehicle operate enough while staying original, and not have a purpose beyond sitting in a museum, theres no reason to make it better then factory. One of the best pieces in the Revs collection is their unrestored “as is from Spa 1971” Porsche 917K. At first I wasn’t on board with

Well, if you’re looking for luxury in a SUV, Land Rover is all over that, and we have seen these things outperform American SUV’s time and again, but as a person who worked on a few (mid 2000's and up), there’s a reason you see people lease them and dump after it’s up, along with these one owner lots filled with

I’ve known the guy for a better part of 10 years, he’s not one to make up stories. We’ve seen this with american cars during the Malaise era, essentially keep the line rolling, it’s final destination will fix it.

Never understood the allure of Land Rovers. I was speakibg with a restoration specialist at a museum in Naples, and before that, he worked at a Porsche/Land Rover dealer. One day they were unloading them, and the service manager told him that the truck driver complained of one running very rough, so they bring it in,

Thank you, came here yo say this

Hey, he has a long term plan, 5 years on the grill, 7 years at register, and BAM, shift manager making 10.90/hr, he’s going places I tell ya, suck on that Trysha and Mychael, his parents.

You mean factory applied graphics, applied by the manufacturer, who most likely needed approval from governing bodies, not some kid down the street named Dustyn, yes with a y, because his parents thought it’d be cool....

I know you can’t vinyl a helmet due to possibly hiding cracks, but as far as legality to use at say a low level/SCCA event, is this scuffing and painting okay? If so, I too have a helmet that is long overdue for some paint

I thought I waited the longest to purchase a DC (15yrs.) I loved it in 99' and love it today. I recommend Vigilante 8 2nd offence ( you get both original and 2nd game levels) SEGA Rally, Ready to Rumble, Air Force Delta, and goes without saying, Sonic Adventure...... infact, I’m going to go play it now

Oh hell yea. The visuals and soundtrack put me at awe when it came out, coming from a Sonic fanboi, it would take a lot to outshine Sonic 2 or 3/S&K, but RARE said, “hold my beer.”

Good lord you all have the wrong answer. The original DKC was the best

McLaren would have input that would have assisted in preparing it for better reliability. Of course we know about Senna having input on the power curve, which became more powerful and to handle. It also lapped 1.4 seconds faster then their current Ford unit at a test seassion (thought it showed it’s usual degredation,

Michael scored all of 7 points, 1/10 of Senna’s. As bad as people say 93' was, he did damn well, finished 2nd in points. McLaren made some bad calls for the next couple years (Peugeot engine, ooph) I still think if they truely cared about him staying, they should of went with the Lambo unit like he wanted, it had

It really came down to reliability. Looking at the stats, Senna was leading the points until Canada where Prost began a string of wins, and Senna mustered two 4ths, a 5th, and a dismal 18th because he stalled. Had he capitalized on Prosts two out of points positions, and didn’t retire at Portugal and Canada, I can

I worked along side a VW shop. ST’s have their quirks, but they are too easy to work on imo. However VW tries to reinvent the wheel, sometimes it’s genius, sometimes it causes them to be a pile of shit. We called VW’s the “lottery car company” because their quality isn’t consistent.

Care to explain this trick knuckle thing?

I do agree that Ferrari should come back to their sports car roots with LMP, but the WEC won’t bend or payout as much as F1 will, so we’ll be waiting a bit longer for them to go for overall at LeMans.

It should be a flat payout amount with constructor champions being exempted, they get 20% more for winning it. It would turn around teams like Sauber and Renault, and slow MB, RB, Ferrari and McLaren from runninhlg the show.
