My answer to replay.  The referee has 30 seconds to view the replay, and he has to watch it at real time speed.

100% the greatest women’s tennis player ever. I believe that due to advances in technology, nutrition, year round training, etc that any dominant player of the current era in any sport is better than a dominant player from another era. You put peak Billie Jean King out there today she gets hammered.

It’s about the power dynamic in all those circumstances.

In the interest of complete reporting, you should have brought up pine tar and foreign substances....

He was my favorite AAA/MLB/AAA/MLB/AAA/MLB/AAA player ever!

all of my Michigan friends use 5's.  It’s unnatural.

For me in Toledo and Bowling Green, “shoot the moon” was taking all the points in Hearts.  “Go alone” was for euchre.

+1 but only if you are a 6/4 card score keeper and not one of those insane 5/5 people.

I misstated my comment, he did complain before the cards were shown, but with the intent that it could help him back out after. Hedging.

I think he is being disingenuous, he was calling 22 as well in that spot, he’s just looking for a reason to back out after the fact once the cards were shown.  He basically snap called the 17.  If he hemmed and hawed on the 17 for a few minutes, I’d maybe feel sympathy.  The floor is 100% correct, it’s your

I’m not saying the West Virginia episode belongs on this list, I’m just saying that he nailed everything about it.  My parents said it was the most honest and truthful depiction of their home state that they have ever seen on television.

Yikes...

Playing golf with Pete Peeters and Ron Tugnutt I hope.

There’s too much money at stake.  At some point, SOMEONE will finish the series.  I have stopped believing it will actually be GRRM.

OK I retract my statement, we would get along great.

You must be a real treat to watch a game with...

Never waste an excuse to post the ultimate “old dude who finally wins a Cup” moment:

Ahh, I think I get it now. The Laker’s would have been the 11th team in record order, when the 11th team wasn’t the Lakers then they had to be in the top 4. I didn’t realize that picks 5-14 were not being randomly assigned, but were still in reverse record order.

Not a big NBA fan, not 100% sure how this works.  How was it certain the Lakers were in top 4 group when the 11th pick was announced?
