@gpzbc: Thanks, that thread describes my experience. 'My Documents', 'My Pictures'...everything is on my F: drive and in Windows 7 libraries.

Powdered milk is a money-saver for me.

I open up "My Computer" and in the field "Search Computer" I type a file name which I know exists on my computer.
