Honestly really never heard that or cared too much personally. Tire wear would also largely depend on what you have for rubber and how you drive. AWD will also yield worse gas mileage and rob WHP. I drove a GTI and a WRX and can tell you I had infinitely more fun in the WRX. The cost of the fun was worth it to me.…
