In response to your first sentence (however long that goes on) - no, that’s your assumption. It’s entirely possible to watch this advert and not assume a single one of those things.

I’m grossly over simplifying but here goes...

Bahaha mine was a blobeye. I did relatively the same thing but I had a 2010 GTI stop gap in between. I didn’t get a new WRX but a used ‘13 hatch with 20k on it. I’m a sucker for wagons and hatches so MY 15+ was out of the question. But very reliable after 2 years of tons of driving
