For some reason I made the shift from a 6spd to a 5spd real easy. However I still occasionally put the clutch in on the highway ready to shift to 6th, realize my mistake, let the RPM’s drop so low and have to blip back up to 5th. I always feel a little silly when I do that.

Hahaha damnit. This is exactly why I rooted for Nico. Lewis is clearly the superior driver though, I’ll never argue that. In the past two years, did Nico ever pass Lewis on similar strategies?

As much as I hardly ever look at the tach, when I moved to a GTI after my blob eye, it was the first thing I missed. I loved the center mount tach for no good reason. Back in a ‘13 wrx now and it’s so nice to have it back. I’m with you, I love it for the quirk.
