Most cars in this condition are worth negative money, but the market on 914s is approaching “anything with a VIN and a title is worth something”. There is easily a $2350 head start here to building a 914 from the ground up.

To lease, but if you’re owning a 3 yr old version with 36k miles and a 1 year warranty, it’d be difficult to rationalize.

I think the same cycle can be applied to a lot of motorcycle ownership cases

Suburban Utility Vehicle, from the original Chevy Surburban.

I prefer my speedsters to be light weight and sports car-like:

I watched too much star trek as a kid to always think of an eraser as a car. It was a racer if it was a car. Flipped over it was an away shuttle

Seriously. If you’re going to be trawling for attention in Monaco, you want the plebes to see your most recent rhinoplasty.

Or just put in a huge order with Mercedes and dictate that it have the USPS badge on the front and it costs them nothing extra because they just put in a giant fleet order and MB can probably tool up a new badge for a couple thousand dollars.

I can’t help but vote NP on this one. There’s something about the design of this little aero slipper that I’ve always loved. Used boxtsers are plentiful, but a good 3.4 motor is probably worth more than the rest of that Boxster.

If pedestrians don’t come apart when you hit them, you’re just not driving quickly enough.

From a purely etymological point of view, that’s what I thought too. That’s how one uses it as a verb: to parent one’s children is to raise and care for them; not give birth to them.

Try doing it off a hooker’s butt, and use a crisp hundred.

I hate Illinois nazis

So the Audi carries an additional 1300 pounds, goes 100 miles less, and still costs a minimum of $16,000 more than a long range AWD Model Y ($49,990 before rebates), a car almost exactly the same size (Y is 6" shorter but the same width and height).

Would have loved to see Hosehead swoop in and lead the boats away from the capsule with surgical drops of Elsinore 40's.

Bob & Doug should have popped the hatch and yelled at the onlookers:
