City guy who has always commuted to the suburbs for work. I live in the city for the lifestyle and access to amenities, not that any of them are available to me right now.

My 911 is in sleep mode too, really wish I had put that off but after the snow in Mpls it seemed like the right idea. Good week and weekend to put up holiday lights?

Another cab driving story in this one... This was back when cabs had radio dispatch and everyone could hear every conversation at the same time.

I find that oxblood interiors work better, but red is preferred over white for sure.

This matches me as well, at least 8 times a year I drive from Minneapolis to the suburbs of Chicago (~400 mi) and my Q7 will do it with no stops required. Typically I will fill up on the way out and stop with the kids at rest stops on the drive and have about 120 mi still in the tank when I arrive.

I have both a 20 year old car with no cameras and a 4 year old one with all the cameras and I can say that like many of the folks here I like the cameras for the stuff you simply cannot see otherwise. Down at the trailer hitch on the back bumper, great to have a camera.

4 year old Q7 with no warranty left and it is still great. For long-range family hauling I could not ask for more, but if I was shopping to replace it the GV80 would definitely make the cut for consideration.

I would add “or a pickup with seats in the bed and a roof over it”... if you want to include the Subaru Brat as an SUV maybe you could drop the roof requirement.

Completely right, who wants a GT car with no windshield?

Completely agree that I miss that old dealership. When it moved to 394 and 169 and (mostly) lost the Lotus it became pretty Meh.

I give them a pass on the roadster, it had no roof.

If the engine is rebuilt with a new/replaced IMS the engine itself is probably worth $5k. Still would not bite on this one but the part-out value is helped by a running M96.

Plenty of stupid and uninformed folks out there, I used to know a guy who bought remaindered ammunition to shoot with. Nothing like loading your AR with ammo that failed QA at the factory.

Parenting and biological processes are not really related. The term “Parent” is really about responsibility, family and connection and not biology.

Ok, real story:

This took too long. Doing good work here, thanks!

The E-Tron sales numbers seem to bear this out. In the end the sales volume is the metric we should be using to reference value, our own definition is useful for conversation but overall market value is really just something we should base on reception (other people being idiots not withstanding).

Hosers

Counter argument - even appliances have niche markets. Who needs an internet connected screen in their refrigerator? Who needs a side by side with a freezer that makes PERFECTLY clear ice for 10x the cost of a regular one?

Yep, love this car generally but not this one at this price with those wheels.
