Assorted Musings:

My guess, a big enough check.

Didn’t SYFY do this movie already? Someone is actually remaking a SYFY movie, what’s next a big studio Sharknado?

I think I sensed a little foreshadowing in the back and forth between John and Fancy. Along the lines of he leaves or almost leaves the team and goes to Fancy (temporarily of course). The talk about teams and triads and the percentages of success, as well as John’s admiration of Fancy’s toys.

I suspect it was a matter of convenience with Mrs S. he was aware of her from research on her mother. I think the only great plan was for whatever reason (probably the twinning) he wanted to get that Mom (also cut-out) away from the program.

You are forgetting two important characters, the Gestational mom, (aka cut-out) and the geneticist Duncan. Siobhan didn’t have to know anything really Duncan did, he arranged the placement Mrs. S was just willing to help and protect children. We’ve seen plenty of evidence he was working to other purposes while leading

If I recall correctly, he later tells Clara he traded his fob watch for the coat.

He has or at least had children and grandchildren. Susan was his granddaughter.

That's true, but to take the next step in security. If you control your ribbon and typed pages, it can't be copied without your knowledge. I'm not really up on computers but even I've heard of keystroke logs, and I'm sure there are a dozen other ways to get a copy of your work without your knowledge.

Don't forget the security factor. A typewriter can't be "Hacked" from miles away.

Convenient, yes, but much less secure. If you take your hard copy and ribbon no one will know what you typed. There are multiple ways to get that information off of computers.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't like it either. I think it just looks dumb. They should have kept the original spelling and merchandised under another trademark, maybe Universal's. As for Marvel/DC, I think it was argued they mutually coined the term in their comics, then it moved into common vernacular, hence the

I don't think they'll ever "fix" it, simply because they can't trade mark or copyright Sci-fi, scifi, due to it's wide use in popular culture. Yes they can copyright Sci-fi channel, I think, but that won't protect their brand on merchandising.

It probably would have gone on much longer if Robert Jordan hadn't died, leaving some notes, outlines, and a partial manuscript. If I recall correctly he had originally intended for Wheel of Time to be a trilogy.

So tell us how you really feel.

If you watch the credits of much of the Classic series the character is listed as "Doctor Who"

Sorry Annalee, but the whole of Conan vastly outweighs the one great movie, one o.k. TV show, and two really really bad movies that I still wish I could un-see

Are we sure it's a man

No, but Coulson would speak with them and attempt to render some type of aid.
