As far as I’m concerned (who knows what will actually get proposed), a 240V outlet in the garage seems like a reasonable middle ground. If an entire new house is getting wired, I can’t see a 240V outlet changing the cost in any meaningful way.

Ironically the ONLY good progressive commercial is a parody of terrible Chevy ones.
But it appears to be brown and a manual, so there’s that.
No, this is a fiscally responsible and sustainable take.
I don’t like the Obama era fuel regulations, but I don’t want them weakened. I want them changed a bit to be more realistic, but to also stop encouraging big trucks. Get rid of the stipulation that allows for bigger vehicles to get worse gas mileage; doing that would encourage all vehicles to become more fuel efficient…
I’m Goering to give you a star for this.
This is getting close to the ‘magazine vs. clip’ pedantry of gun humpers.
Most grating is the “Nazi armed forces.” I’ve seen “Nazi Luftwaffe” elsewhere.
It’s dumb and lazy. The Nazis were a political party. The Luftwaffe was, and is, the German Air Force. Using them together is ignorant; it’s like seeing an F-35 overheard and shouting “there goes a Republican Air Force plane!”
I like how in a commercial for a Lincoln CUV (I have no idea what or which one because I don’t give a fuck) the ONLY THING THEY TALK ABOUT is Waze.
People would straight up lose their shit if Ford suddenly unveiled a TINY truck and SUV reviving the Courier name. Smaller, cheaper and simpler than the Ranger/Bronco, it sells like the old school stripped Ranger and the Focus - an entry level, durable vehicle at a good price. Ford mic drop. Walk away.
Why, they oughta make a movie of it!
*to pretty much everyone with at least $75K to spend on a car, but yeah I agree with the sentiment.
There’s a lot of downside to going public. Besides all of the extra financial disclosure rules, you’re also at the mercy of investors who only care about stock price. If you see an investment opportunity that might take years before it starts paying off, and you can’t sell the stock buying public on that strategy you…
“Let the other guys keep dreaming about the future. We’ll be selling F150s to you angry old Luddites.”
*googles “melting down 18k gold badges”*
I held a guys car hostage once. We were a small repair shop and we also did the towing for the Boro police. They pulled a guy over for DUI, arrested him because he was waaaay over the limit and had us tow the car at around 4 am. He makes bail and comes down around 8 to get the car, still drunk. So I told him our…
The scummiest people in the universe are in the towing game.
Aston seems to be selling gangbusters in my neighbourhood:
I’d like to think somewhere in the British Isles there’s a car company so small and so old-school it makes Morgan look like NASA. Something with a name like “Piddlington Motor Carriages” and they believe wood to be too advanced a material; instead they make their cars out of carved stone. I say “cars” but there’s only…
Ok, so:
