Neutral: Does In-Flight Entertainment Actually Make Flights Better?

Could be worse...at least a chauffeur can drive. Whereas Betsy Devos...

Neutral: Yes, most definitely. If I’m going to be stuck in an uncomfortable seat for 9 hours, it’s at least nice to have something mindless to stare at.

I once had to have the steering column replaced on a one-year-old Colorado...

Une etoile pour vous, m’sieur.

That is what is really missing from this conversation: these tanks, while terrifying, aren’t very durable in the long run without constant maintenance. Its actually intended that way: captured US equipment can seldom be maintained by foreign forces. Sure, they may get a good battle or two, but afterwards? The Abrams

Um, you do know that this era and model of car has three modes? Rust, Bondo, and “back to earth”. Which one did you expect?

But you could use that gum to help plug the rusty hole in the drivers side rocker.

After they clean the cars down with urine, they will be back to normal.

If you are unsure you could avoid a pedestrian on a lighted motorway when going 38 mph, you REALLY shouldn’t be on the road.

The main idea is that is separates the load from the body, meaning the body wont fatigue from a heavy load as the chassis can handle it independent from the body. Unibody is theoretically superior in that you want uniform stiffness for a better truck, but the trouble is that getting uniform stiffness is tricky and the

I think this, along with the Ridgeline, are targeted at suburban homeowners rather than anyone using the truck for anything serious. I would consider this new VW truck as my next car, perfect for home depot and junkyard runs.

That “truck” would be a nightmare with 1,000 pounds in the back. However, the typical “3 bags of potting soil” or “ice chest and a BBQ” will do just fine.

I have never known anyone who owned a pickup. I’ve known plenty of people who’ve owned houses. So I really question the “need” for a pickup for homeowners.

Pickups are far from farm mobiles these days. Most “half ton”(absurd to use this term anymore with their higher capacities) light duty pickups are essentially sedans with large trunks. It’s the perfect vehicle for our consumerism culture.

We need another SMALL pickup, because contrary to what automakers believe, not everyone who wants a pickup wants a 6,000lb behemoth that can tow the moon while carrying an Egyptian pyramid in the bed, all while heating and cooling the butts of four people.

Nothing says compensation like a mid-size, unibody, VW pickup.

That moment when you realize that people who weren’t alive for the 1997 Tokyo motor show are old enough to buy alcohol now.

The Big Three lobbied for changes and shut that tactic down. Cab/chassis vehicles get the chicken tax.

WHAT!?!?!?! Car dealers don’t care about me, my finances, or my well being?
