If you are unsure you could avoid a pedestrian on a lighted motorway when going 38 mph, you REALLY shouldn’t be on the road.

To me, this is one of the only believable things. Humans by nature are tribal, and violent.

The main idea is that is separates the load from the body, meaning the body wont fatigue from a heavy load as the chassis can handle it independent from the body. Unibody is theoretically superior in that you want uniform stiffness for a better truck, but the trouble is that getting uniform stiffness is tricky and the

I think this, along with the Ridgeline, are targeted at suburban homeowners rather than anyone using the truck for anything serious. I would consider this new VW truck as my next car, perfect for home depot and junkyard runs.

That “truck” would be a nightmare with 1,000 pounds in the back. However, the typical “3 bags of potting soil” or “ice chest and a BBQ” will do just fine.

I have never known anyone who owned a pickup. I’ve known plenty of people who’ve owned houses. So I really question the “need” for a pickup for homeowners.

Pickups are far from farm mobiles these days. Most “half ton”(absurd to use this term anymore with their higher capacities) light duty pickups are essentially sedans with large trunks. It’s the perfect vehicle for our consumerism culture.

We need another SMALL pickup, because contrary to what automakers believe, not everyone who wants a pickup wants a 6,000lb behemoth that can tow the moon while carrying an Egyptian pyramid in the bed, all while heating and cooling the butts of four people.

Nothing says compensation like a mid-size, unibody, VW pickup.

That OK, I only read Facebook for the articles, anyway.

That moment when you realize that people who weren’t alive for the 1997 Tokyo motor show are old enough to buy alcohol now.

The Big Three lobbied for changes and shut that tactic down. Cab/chassis vehicles get the chicken tax.

WHAT!?!?!?! Car dealers don’t care about me, my finances, or my well being?

This guy and his brother are both orange tabbies - apparently the Labrador Retrievers of the cat world - fat, dumb and happy. They both weigh in at 15 pounds, purr all the time, greet us and wag their tails (like a dog) when we come home, plus they destroyed the couch and the big comfy chair.

The problem is not that they get $60K or that much vacation time. It is that they can’t get fired for doing shit work.

Yes, they could. Nobody would buy the “international market” trucks, so nobody tries to sell them.

2005 Fresh out of school, 21 years old great paying job. Pontiac just introduced the 6.0L GTO’s. I was at the desk ready to sign on a blue one with a 6-speed. Decided to sleep on it. Decided my commute was long and I might not want to drive a stick.

Nightmare is one of my top 5 all time favorite movies =P

I don’t like the Pixar bracket. Some of their best is up against others of the best, so some of the “not-as-good” coast a bit. But this was HARD.

Every single wireless gaming mouse I’ve ever used has lagged in some situation. I gave up and bought a claw gripe style Corsair cord mouse and have had zero issues since.
