The biggest problem I have personally known someone to complain about is that they aren’t required to support any given car model like the U.S. for a given time.

Did some massive price jump happen this year? I ask because only one of these is a notch higher than my 2-year-old RoG Strix from ASUS. The 970M is still a good graphics driver, and with the hard drive +SSD, fair quantity and quality of storage. And it was only $995.
Way back, I owned a coupe, a wagon, and a truck. But now, I can’t afford to have ‘purpose built’ vehicles. So, just like everyone else, I get one thing that does everything I need.
I forgive what would have been the supreme sacrilege of putting a Cobra in the water. But, they might have dolled the sub up a bit, yes.
Yeah. Lightning McQueen did that.
That one gets me. In machinegun classes, we used old deuce-and-a-halfs as targets. With an M60, you can see daylight through multiple layers of truck steel.
Herbie popped a wheelie so hard, he ran along a few feet on nothing but the back bumper!
Funny how the original ‘66 Batmobile is the only believable one. WHERE in the fenders is the room to hide a couple of 50-cals? Don’t, like, wheels or something have to live there?
Or paint jobs. Took 2 days to get my wheels right, but the can fully, inside-and-out, paint, trim, and accessorise a car in 90 minutes.
I choked at the car turning at speed and driving 90 in reverse.
That’s actually true enough. There was a try to get their ‘sanctuary’ in Virginia re-labelled officially to a slaughterhouse due to the ratio of dead animals. Part of the evidence was the bill for the massive refrigerators to temp store remains.
I’m quitting cold turkey next week.
I did like the 2000 style Silverado, with that gently properly curved hood. Enough that I bought one. But nothing has been that nice since.
Okay, I’ll take the job. I wonder if an HHR body would fit on that.
Common peasants have to turn a dial or a fan setting to run the AC. ‘Real’ Buicks, you just set the temp and it stays that, winter or summer. The Wife’s has been set to 72 for 5 years.
Please don’t compare this to the Jeep. Jeep fanbois will be lining up to pay $40k for that. We want something useful and affordable.
As a network engineer and former Manager of Desktop Support, I never have fallen for that stuff...
Coming from a 3-generation GM family, I fully understand the issues, and the massive labor/quality problems of the ‘bad decades’. But to be truthful, I remember other brands having bad issues, also. Many of you were too young for the Monarchs falling apart, or the doors not staying tight on a ‘Cuda.
Well, if they bring back the HHR, I would get one by the weekend. Or the 2000 style Silverado (with 2 doors). But they’d rather make everything much uglier and more expensive. What if I don’t want OnStar Internet Wifi router?
That’s always been true. If you name your daughter ‘Bunny’, no matter how many PhDs she gets in astrophysics, she will never get beyond administrative assistant.
