I wonder if it’s the hybrid thing in general. Sorry, but to me, the hybrid vehicle is just some kind of stop-gap to seem cool until somebody comes up with better ideas.

We did that for the first time a couple years ago. A 2-year-old pristine Buick at half-price? Sold.

The time people keep their cars jumped up in 2008 with all that other mess. With me personally, it’s about 7 to 8 years, and that’s usually because I need a different type of vehicle. From truck to sedan (never again), to something-UV, I think.

Where’s that from???? Link? Somewhere South?

And they’re getting smarter. They have the VIN, when the factory warranty expires.

I read somewhere years ago that as you get older, your “bullsh*t detector” begins to malfunction.

At least the brim faces the front.

Owning a bunch of cars to show off does not mean you know squat about them. He has made comments that make me question his ‘car expert’ qualifications.

I tried to save my Mom’s old Buick.

Geez, who peed in your cereal? I’m not criticizing America. I’m saying that people will drive a vehicle that does not fit the function they require because of what people will think. They think a truck is tough and manly. They buy a Escalade with visions of Jeeps bouncing over rocks.

Wish I could give more stars. I reckon ‘cause this bein’ ‘Merica, a lot of times style over function is a real thing.

That’s what I instantly thought. In no way is Porsche going to “slay” Tesla. They’ll take a few high-end sales from the Model R, or Z, or whatever they call it by the time this comes out, but us common peasants won’t really care.

“John has a long mustache.”

Having owned a ‘73 VW bus, I like that design.

Nope. They really were cheap. I went with a friend of mine to look at them in the tiny window of sales.

Sorry, but ours clogged and fried. As the proud servants of three dogs and a couple of cats, we started getting ‘pet specialty’ devices as soon as they came out. We’ve tried 3 different model Hoovers over the last decade, a canister, a ‘Wind Tunnel’ original, and this. Lots of nope.

My ‘79 Toyota. 5-Speed Long Bed. Nothing ever better.

Hey! The kidnapper gotta eat, you know.

I feel bad for the woman. My own MiL hated me for years. I wouldn’t have given pocket lint to get her back.

Maybe it’s the model. I had to turn it off, because every time wifi got too slow, it would kick in mobile data. I have a Galaxy 5. Marshmallow (the latest?) is when it started working.
