I laughed WAY too hard at this, and now I want it to happen very badly.

Captain Marvel blasted through a spaceship the size Manhattan while shrugging off firepower that wiped out the entire Nova Corps planet.
One of the more interesting potential endings to me is that Arya either takes the throne or (much more likely) takes a powerful position authorized by whoever is on the throne, and then uses that position to bring about completely horrific things because she’s lost so much of her humanity. An uprising against the…
Yep, exactly this. I never really expected the series to end with humanity versus ice zombies. I’m surprised so many did with a show that has a tendency to zig instead of zag. The expectation created by the very first scene in the show was that the ice zombies were eventually going to come. And as seasons went on, it…
I was honestly like “OH AS IF” after they spent so much of the last ten to fifteen minutes of the episode showing Brienne, Sam, Jaime etc on the precipice of being drowned in wights but they still lived.
Yeah, I think the attraction I miss the most is Horizons. Agreed about Spaceship Earth. I just missed being able to ride Frozen Ever After the last time I was there, so I can’t compare it with Maelstrom. I liked Maelstrom, but admittedly a lot of what I liked about it was (1) it was strange; and (2) there was never a…
What’s your impression of current Epcot? Since I’m an old, I remember being there for the first time in 1985 and absolutely loving how the first half of the park expressed optimism about the future in a very Star Trek-ian way. Now most the rides that did that—Horizons, World of Motion, Universe of Energy, and Wonders…
This list works better for me than the article’s. I’m surprised by how low Infinity War is ranked in the article; it does an excellent job of juggling a metric ton of different characters, far more than the number in Avengers or Age of Ultron or even Civil War, and few of them feel shortchanged.
Slut Bumwala.
It very well could be.
I was thinking Fringe fit the description for two reasons—first (spoilers!), it was about two separate universes, one of which was being slowly destroyed as a result of Walter’s actions to ‘rescue’ his son; consequently, the parallel universe’s Walter hatches several plans that would destroy or severely damage the…
I would completely love this... although we might be the only two people in the world who would appreciate it. (I don’t encounter many people who’ve seen the ‘78 show.)
I agree, I was pleased when Bengelbert Crumdybum was cast; he fits the part perfectly. I do think they could’ve made the character British without too much difficulty so that he wouldn’t have to do an American accent, but such is life.
I agree with your point that shows which threaten the viewer with the future don’t last, but I’m not sure you have The 4400 in the right group—it lasted just as long as Continuum (4 seasons). There were 44 episodes of The 4400 and 42 episodes of Continuum. Also, I think we have to put Fringe in the “did last” column…
I dunno, our 1 month-old seems fine sleeping on her back. She sleeps in a cradle next to our bed. Works pretty well. The American Academy of Pediatrics says evidence shows sleeping in the parents’ room on a separate, safe surface lowers the chance of SIDS by as much as 50%.
they were correcting the fact that they didn’t give it to him the previous year for The Insider.
I would say it’s both!
Well, lessee. Last season, Littlefinger did an awesome job creating division between Sansa and Arya basically using truth (Sansa did write that letter) and almost convinced Sansa that Arya needed to be killed. Except that Sansa saw through it and bested the most devious man in the show. Pretty smart and incisive to…
Welcome back. I had the same problem, but my original handle was “Dogstyle Afternoon,” so it’s probably for the best.
this is a really weird “The Secret of My Success” remake
