I can’t tell if the Mustang driver signaled, but he definitely did enter the #3 lane before the truck did. He did so smoothly and without any sudden movements. That lane did not belong to the truck in any capacity. By the time the truck attempted to merge, the Mustang was already there.

just 1, the latest revision has seen over 80k miles, they finally figured it out. I spent $270 on the pump from a dealer and installed it in maybe 2 hours. Its not easy having direct injection done on a high compression turbo car. I’m pushing 470whp on the stock pump for 60k miles now with some e85 and its been fine.

The b58 also has 11:1 compression ratio vs the n54/n55’s 10.2:1, 11:1 on a turboed motor is pretty impressive. As for the timing chains, I agree terrible call on their end but my n54 has made it to 150k never requiring any chain or VANOS service of any kind so if you have to pull the motor every 150k+ thats not THAT…

Not sure whether I would give a damn. Audi does the ZF 8AT as well or better than anyone else. Whatever fractional performance advantage of the dual clutch would easily be mitigated by the much more everyday livability of the 8AT.

I have a bar of soap with my tools. I scrape my fingernails until the ends are full of white soap. Then gloves or not. REALLY helps keep the nails respectable for Monday at work.
