Except the stock car doesn’t make 335hp. It’s “rated” at 335hp but it makes more like 400. So this makes 90 more HP....or so they say.

I think the real concern here is will they treat gay people, or will the turn them away as the abominations they believe them to be?
I don’t give a rats ass if they hate gays so long as they treat them. But the concern is valid.

I really liked the crosstrek I test drove in 2018. I enjoyed the 6 speed and the feel of the car overall. However, I found the power really lacking. I live up in steep hills and it would have been a bit annoying to be honest. However...I liked it enough that I ended up buying a 2014 Forester with the 6 speed. Still

But But But....what about the main battery replacement? It’s cool that it was covered but based on the current warranty it would not be covered on the newer cars. IIRC that’s in the $30k realm all its own. That would drastically alter the total maintenance costs here.

From the pics that looks like a really nice truck. Paintwork looks great, body panels all line up properly, all the modern components are mounted nicely...this is a truck you build to keep. Forever. Because it sure as shit won’t ever be worth more than a 1/3 of what it obviously took to build it.

Freaking awesome it was

30-40 miles depending on terrain. Or like 2+ hours of hard riding.

I can take this a lot of places where nothing motorized is legally allowed and nobody has said a damn thing. I get compliments from guys on horses or hiking instead of the police called on me. I do use discretion and don’t take heavily trafficked trails. When I’ve gone on OHV specific trails, no rangers have hassled

These Sur Rons are inexpensive and well built. There’s a few weak points like brake pads and tires, but nothing you can’t easily fix. These aren’t extremely fast (top out around 50), but they can be modded to go VERY fast with just controllers and battery upgrades. I don’t need high top speed so I have larger

Sur Ron X. Both are modified a bit, but not to the extreme....yet.

Oh my fucking hell. I love this so much. Electric dirtbiking has become my obsession since I got a Sur Ron last year. It truly is the most fun ever...and you can do it almost anywhere. Now I’ve turned my kid into an addict too

I'm 5'15 and I don't fit in the RF. But I DO fit in the soft top.. so that's what I bought.

You ever look under a Miata? This isn’t a bargain parts bin car. It’s a well engineered car with the adjustability of a race car, with all the features anyone would need, while maintaining a curb weight that nearly matches its former self of 30 years. For ~$30k it's a steal.

I’m fine with this. Everyone loves rotary engines in theory, but rarely in practice. They’ve wowed us with their specific output figures and low displacements, but proven to be unreliable, thirsty for fuel AND oil, and heavy despite their size. Mazda’s SkyActiv motors are great. I’d actually love a straight 6

My Forester agrees

My 2016 340i needed a new battery after ~18 mos. I never used the eco mode or drove it on short drives either. Twas a pricey battery! Glad it was covered.

One aspect of EV tuning that particularly intrigues me, is the thought of hot rodding without worrying about emissions. For years in California you've either had to pay big money and potentially wait longer for CARB-approved options, or try your best to cheat the system. I suppose there's still time for the nannies to

Now playing

Today’s ride on my Sur Ron was a blast!

I like those. Do you do much off-road riding? If so, how’s the hub motor for that?

Who cares? It's the best looking, best handling, best overall performance ev.
