They do, but don’t bother. The pedals are worthless and you get TONS of exercise riding this thing (assuming it’s not street riding)

I wondered the same. But ultimately I live in an area that really works for a vehicle like this. If I lived in a congested city area with only populated trails I don’t think this would be the toy for me. But a lot of that has to do with the BS perception of stuff like this from mountain bikers and the like. I can even

IMO it doesn't need it. The minor bump to 54t helped for the most extreme steep stuff. Maybe if I went to a taller rear tire I'd consider a 60t

I live in a rural area with mountain trails behind my house that almost nobody even walks on. Occasionally there’s a horse rider. The terrain is too difficult for bicycles. Occasionally I ride ohv trails, I regularly hit up some fire roads.

For those wondering, this WAS a stock Sur-Ron. I removed the stickers, added pegs that fit my feet, put a grippier rear tire on, Broke my rear brake lever in a crash which drove the purchase of an improved rear caliper, lever, line, and the bark busters to prevent it happening again. There’s also a Diety 80mm riser

It’s a Sur Ron. You can get them in the US from Luna Cycles.

correct!

Colors change per availability. It’s not road legal, but most people don’t ride them on the road. Plus, you CAN make them road legal, even in California...if you so desired. It’s perfect for trails.

Yes! All I ride are trails. It’s a blast. Plus, I can ride super technical stuff that you really wouldn’t want to attempt on a bigger bike.

My life has forever changed since I bought this sucker. Seriously.

If it could be done in a way that doesn’t ruin the core awesomeness of the MIATA, then sure. Let’s list some of those traits:

Interestingly, I turned in my leased 2016 340i manual and bought a new Miata...and I’m a lot happier actually.

Cougars first!

Nah, Steve. :P ...almost 30 years later and his hair is even longer now lol

totally, man. I really enjoyed this concept:

yes, I owned one. I did enjoy the car. It just always felt like it had so much more potential. You COULD build one to fulfill that potential, but I didn’t. Eventually replaced it with an e90 m3.

I drooled over this when I saw it at the 2011 LA Auto show. I just knew they must have had a 300hp variant ready to release, if not at initial intro, soon after. I mean, WHY WOULDN’T THEY?

mad camber bro. JK, It’s a digital picture of a photo. Looks like the photo was curved a tad.

My mom special ordered a 1992 with a manual transmission but in late '91 an end of year sales event got us into this XLT Sport model. I was so stoked on the body kit and stripes. Legit this was like winning the lottery for me.

Did anyone else overhear someone in the audience yell, “take my money!”? Twice?
