“Unfortunately, I̶ ̶d̶o̶n̶’̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ nobody has Magic Leap One,”

Tie a length of floss or string from the head of the faucet into the sink. Water flows down the string into basin without impact thanks to the long known science of surface tension. No soap wasted. No noise.

Why is this suddenly being reported everywhere as new? It aired as a stinger to the last episode months ago. Am I missing something? Did i alone watch it in some sort of prophetic fever dream?

That’s pretty much what my dog looks like right before he sneezes.

I guess this effect is kinda cool and all, but ONLY works when filmed. To the naked eye, without a strobe light, all yer gonna get is a blur.

Oh for cryin... STOP BLOWING ON YOUR CARTRIDGES!

No no, sorry if it came off like that. I just wanted to add where the difference is for those who would inevitably come back and say “then let’s just keep tipping”. Poorly worded, my bad.

Of course it would matter. The money might be coming from a different source, but it means that servers aren’t tempted to take out their frustrations on anyone they serve just because they aren’t able to put in a few extra, especially if they are frequent customers. And before you say “not all servers are vindictive

I absolutely cannot put it any better. It’s appalling to me that there are professions in which an employer is allowed to compensate their employees so little that we as a consumers are burdened (or is it guilted) into making up the difference, regardless of a person’s performance.

I know I’ve voiced my opinion on this

Welp... I’m F$#cked

you’re hardly alone. SNL strikes lightning every once in a while, but this was not one of those times. I swear there’s something in the contract for their writers that says “if you want to work here, we expect you to have the distinct disability to write endings to your sketches”.

Frankly, I found the video a little dumb (as much as I love Frederator). They were seeing patterns where none existed. Scientifically, sure, different colors have different and measurable physiological responses, but to suggest that cartoon creators chose those colors specifically to elicit them or that yellow

Surprised they didn’t mention the PWM inherit to LEDs. Lower quality light sources could have a noticeable flashing on camera, potentially ruining shots that happen to get in sync with the pulsing. Definitely something that never came up with tungsten.

Yeah, I probly wouldn’t either. We should be friends.

I can’t help but think a momentary button and the tiniest of arduinos could do this at a fraction of the cost without the need for yet another hub.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Your joke is bad and you should feel bad!

To quote a coworker: Avatar is Cameron’s attempt “to force a franchise out of his overpriced Dances with Wolves with tail humping Smurfs”. The movie is pretty, but ultimately dull and unoriginal. Definitely not deserving of a theme park ride, let alone and entire section dedicated to it.

This doesn’t look quite right. There aren’t enough frames in the video to tell, but I think it’s more likely that the air pressure at that range is what ripped through the can, not the dart. Show me slow-mo.

My reply was a comment about the blame you placed on Reagan for perveting religious thought. Christianity was tweaked to serve its leaders centuries ago and is as much a political machine as any large corporation.

I think you may have overlooked how long the church was at the helm of racial and social discrimination. The crusades. The inquisition. Salem witch trials. Torture and executions performed to non Anglo, non Christian people in God’s name. To say Christianity is the example to strive towards and look up to would as an
