And the “oh-so-meta” moment of the year when the Universes walk into their own animation studio during the Korea tour? Friggin epic.

And to that end, what if I put my models up on thingiverse or pinshape to share freely? I guess maybe this gets into the legality of 3d printing a product. Perhaps not the place for that discussion.

I hafta wonder, aside from the guilt I might suffer from heavily borrowing someone’s design work, what would stop me from modeling and 3d printing this whole setup for a fraction of the cost (and weight, I imagine)?

That got ruined because someone’s mom forgot that putting them in the dryer was a bad thing. JEEZ MOM!

and by tool, I think he literally meant an emotionless, utilitarian object.

I smell a troll, but in case you’re serious, um no. If you had bothered to read the article past the first paragraph, you would have seen that your theories of having poor self control or succumbing to peer pressure is not even remotely close to why most people swear. I would argue that not swearing around others

Pretty much, yes. It’s one of these things where a client will say “ooh, I hear these QR codes are all the rage, let’s get one of those in here” on a page that already has a clear URL. They have some value when you’re trying to push a URL with specific tracking tokens or otherwise complicated URLs you wouldn’t expect

Not really, no. I know that lends virtually no credibility to my statement, but a lot of what I’ve done has been for internal communications..

I (mostly) recognize their usefulness, but as a designer who has to work these things into his designs, I can tell you that there is no way to elegantly display them. I assume it’s the same for package designers and UPC/SKU codes.

but they ARE all ugly as %$#

No question, it’s the driver.

“It mimics the movement of real life time lapses quite well.”

“Basic security protocols such as two-factor authentication and verification by other means before making a money transfer are essential to reduce the risk of falling victim to these scams,”

Based on my own, less than scientific, observations, walking isn’t all that accurate either. I’m not a runner, but I take my dog on quarter-mile walks frequently enough to start noticing that the counts were off.

Like a watched pot, I noticed that if you leave the egg screen up while you’re walking, nothing is counted.

And yet the U.S. will continue to have douche-nozzles who refuse to eat anything even remotely close to having the description of genetically modified. The world starves, but if it aint “certified organic”, let it rot and go to waste.

I wanna see the whole thing without CG, or at least a split screen of one versus the other

Initially this seems pretty sly, but what happens when the actual factual humans behind the copyright ownership come a’knockin? Any copyright claims will be multiplied by their various owners. He may have found a way around youtube’s predictive formula, but not the vast ridiculousness of copyright law as a whole.

It aint all T&A. Disney XD toned it way down for their animated Spider-Man series. True, the outfit goes beyond form fitting and into painted-on territory, but it covers everything.

Fire effects aside, I find the Mummy ride to be a lazy attempt at a thrill ride. Disappointingly short, low end animatronics and a far cry from what had been promised in the first PR ads before it opened, it had me longing for the E.T. ride.

You’re kidding right? If this trailer is any indication, 75% of this film is military men and politicians arguing in a room while the general population runs for their lives.
