Our contacts have told us that memory reads on PS4 are 40-50 per cent quicker than Xbox One, and its ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) is around 50 per cent faster. One basic example we were given suggested that without optimisation for either console, a platform-agnostic development build can run at around 30FPS in

There's more diversity amongst WoW names than there is amongst real human names

I actually didn't know any of that. Cool. I'll try to pick it up for Xmas or something.

The Moment: When my memory card got washed out by accident right before I was going to get Sora's best weapon and then head on to the final boss.

But that first lesson doesn't really mean anything does it? It just encourages people to hide, and buys into the fear.

Oh god, this story makes my heart bleed in a way I haven't felt in a while.

Just like their announcement! It's thematically paired, great!

Oh God, Hasbro already has my soul through Magic the Gathering, I'm not sure I can afford another expensive collect-athon with dubious returns.

All of these cool worlds makes me want to buy this so bad.

I just have to be patient, one day, I'll be able to take Deadpool for a whirl in the Toybox

I think this runs the risk of being one of them most stylish male power fantasies out there.

Color me interested.

This dude's face says it all:

"I am so ready to rock this, whatever it is, it's mine."

Beside Baoh, what other characters are DLC? I might pick this up though the Japanese PSN store, or if I manage to find it in the dealer's row of a convention, but I'd like to know what characters I would be "missing" from the game if I do.

Wile current circumstance means i'm not willing to pay more than $200 for it, once my situation changes for the better, $300 doesn't seem so bad really. I'd probably spring for the Zelda version, since I skipped Wind Waker the first time around.

I am intrigued. I don't keep up with boardgames, so I'm unaware of IP crossover games in analog formats.

I guess I meant most of the ones released in the States. I forgot about Project X Zone (and one other one released some time ago) that are SRPGs/JRPGs respectively.

I'm kinda a junkie for IP crossovers, they tend to not care about anything other than having a grade-school good time and I really enjoy that.

I don't think most people end up buying both. At least not at launch. Dropping $1K is a good deal of money, and most of the people I know ended up only getting one console this generation.

I'm actually interested to know how much of an impact a week has in the sales of hardware. I know that the year longs head start Microsoft had over Sony was a huge deal because console agnostic folks who cared more about having the latest system would jump on the Xbox, and then instead of buying a PS3 end up buying

So an interesting anecdote shared in the interview:

"It used to be that you'd ship the game and then the development team would go to the beach for a couple of weeks and come back for the next game, now we have teams working round the clock to provide services and new content for players 365 days a year."

I think this is one of those problems where EA has a term for offline experience that doesn't necessarily jive with the way most people understand the term.
