Yup, those 47 Fusions were the last of the MY 2020 that Ford had laying around. I remember looking at new Fusions in April 2020. At that time, a dealer quoted me $16k for one of the last new ones they had. That would be a steal in today’s car market.

Going the other way as well, on what they did sell, what was the price relative to MSRP (and that stat relative to the rest of the market), along with days on lot? I can at least vouch for limited Edge/Escape availability (fleet buyer), so relative to the shortage, that drop-off seems reasonably low.

Eh, of course Ford car sales are dramatically down, because Ford basically stopped selling cars, and when some of their big SUV lines were hit by chip shortages (like so much of the auto industry), I wouldn’t rely too much on 2021 data to reflect any long-term success.

A Jeep without 4wd is like...

See? Perfect example.

It was Granddad. But yeah, who knows. Maybe he’s just from another time when we used to trust people

I am 6'3+

Yeah, this is one of the few cases in my mind that the mods bring value to the car or at least don’t subtract value. I’m guessing he priced at $15k for a long shot offer given the current crazy market and to give him room to negotiate down. So, fully sorted, $15k... sure. I’d call it NP. Current state, I don’t think I

Not absurd due to the range. I know plenty of people that are interested in shorter range EVs.

All good ideas, but the K.I.S.S. principle says- there were two viewing areas.

Madden's first bus was a Dolly Parton tour bus loaner. The Cruiser didn't come until the following season.

I hear “Carnival” and think budget cruise line.

The amount of gear you can fit in a touring bus is huge. Loading all that stuff on an airplane.. no. Plus no touring musician should ever get in a small plane, helicopter or on a commercial flight. Just give up flying.

I remember him traveling by bus but didn’t know it was that nice. Wish I could do that as well.

The number of things related to racing or sports that Lewis can learn from you is “fuck all” -Lewis isn’t Nikita Mazepin, its not all been wine and roses.

The TV special is decent—and some parts are very good—but the album Denver & the Muppets put out before the special is solid throughout.  I can’t recommend the TV special unreservedly, but that Christmas album is a stone classic.

I find it funny how this article and this comment says several post-credits scenes are retconned... but they’re not. There’s new context, and newer (& more important) info, but nothing was retconned...

Any.

Smokey and the bandit sucks...

I don’t ride anymore (much older and bones are definitely more easily breakable), but I remember back in the 1980s getting ticketed for doing over 70mph in a 45mph zone on my BMW R90S about 3 1/2 decades ago. I, of course, wasn’t looking at my speedometer, but I should have realized I was speeding and in a sweet spot
