It’s often the reaction of somebody whose life DOES have bigger problems, but they can’t fix them, and this seems like a problem small enough to fix, or at least to have a go at fixing, so their energy gets redirected from the big problem to the little problem.

*Immediately checks the fuck out*

>> It gets compared to Schitt’s Creek a lot because they are the only Canadian shows Americans have watched in recent years...

Adding any options and what the dealers will actually stock this will be $35K like just about everything else.

Don’t forget Out of Sight! That counts as a heist movie, too.

Being a reformed VW fanboy, it’s funny to see some of the first comments here. Some answers for the culturally uninformed:

Replacing their wiper blades. I see so many cars around here with the wiper blades peeling apart, barely able to remove water from the window.

There’s more black people at Veiled Prophet Ball than work at the AV Club

The guy in India who coped with his father dying by watching, or the woman in California talking about not having friends and then “I’m a Chandler and I found my Monica”...I mean, damn.

Yep, it’s a good upholstery shop from being really sweet. Dye the leather to get rid of the fade and fix the booster on the driver’s side and that’s a hell of a deal.

Wow...This in depth picking apart of women’s faces feels like part of the problem. And for the record, as someone who works in film - looking like you’ve aged “naturally” but still looking “good” often means that you just have a better doctor than someone whose work is more obvious. It’s like when guys say they prefer

Turns out it can spread disinformation just as fast as it spreads enlightenment. Or as that Sting song says “Never saw no miracle of science...that didn’t always turn out as something worse.”

I went looking at a replacement for my aging Prius in late 2019. I was looking for a Volt since I’ve moved closer to work and no longer live in a house with a 60 year old electric system. Chargers at work also were a bonus. The Volt prices were mostly around $25K and many had been used as ride share cars. Most I

Absolutely agree. I think they look great.

I do think part of the atmospheric change is that, 20-30 years ago, people were more willing to accept that the person telling the joke intended it to be a joke, and didn’t automatically assume the worst about a person based upon joke itself...that people could laugh precisely because they didn’t think the joke-teller

If you’ve made a joke that’s aged terribly, accept it. And if you don’t think it’s aged terribly, then say that.

My nephew is getting married in August. I haven’t said yes or no yet but I’ve been leaning towards no because I’m not sure I want to drive that far and I know I don’t want to fly. Then my dad decided to have another heart attack. He’s out of the hospital and doing fine but now I’m thinking I might want to make that

You couldn’t have paid me to go on a cruise - until I went on one. It was so much more fun than I ever imagined!

The difference between Liberal and Conservative: If a Conservative hates cruises, they don’t go on a cruise. If a Liberal hates cruises, they don’t want YOU to go on a cruise.
