Exactly this. I just priced a Ram in a Tradesman trim package. 4x4 with a V6, $33k. That includes carpet (which I don’t want) and a preferred package group. For $35k it comes equipped with a Hemi. Looks like I am back to scouring Craigslist.

Fantastic shape. they normally rust around the rear wheel wells.
YES! I spent my formative years ditch banging in one of these. I have lusted after either a clean Honda Civic or Subaru Justy wagon since.

Thanks.
Been drawing for 20 years now. Interested mainly in textures, but as of late, it has been scenes from Pick n Pull yards.
This Caddy and it’s brethren are the cars I grew up with in the 80's/90's. All of my farm kid friends inherited their grandparent’s babied Bro-hams when they turned 16. Tough as nails, slow as shit, and comfortable for up to 8 people. Way more car than was ever needed, but dammit the memories.
I call bullshit on the moniker ‘barn-find’. The vehicle was garage kept, and albeit dusty, in band new condition. Kinda the exact opposite of being kept in a barn.
Serious? WTF are you doing on this website?
Your comment also applies to Harley owners and their immense love of chrome.
Actually, at $1200, I would say NP. 2.2 Turbos from Mother Mopar were wicked.
I love me some 80's Mopar, but this is Lee-diculous.
WHAT!?!?!!? Pics or it never happened!
A thousand times YES!
As an artist with grease under my fingernails, a good garage was an absolute must. That said, the house we finally bought has an aged 17 x 24 structure that is full of rot. I only agreed to the house after my wife promised to support whatever I wanted to build. I will replace it this summer with a 26 x 24 1 1/2 story…
Agreed. I am sure when they are finally made available the parts will be manufactured with unobtainium.
