So did the Veloster N die so the Kona N could live?

As I’ve said in the other article about the Veloster N and other fun cars starting to drop out of the market: This is the end-result of modern day Extreme Bean Counting. (long-winded post ahead)

That's explained by the price, that thing is twice cheaper than what the competition offers.

The Camry is actually a higher end product than the Rav4. Historically the Rav4 sat in as the Corolla’s class of CUV, though there’s a Corolla Cross now. The Camry’s equivalence in CUV should be the Highlander. Toyota’s CUV and sedans seem to be 1/2 class mismatched at the moment, where the Highlander is at least 1/2

I’m looking at the specs of the Focus they sell in the EU and the biggest problem I see is there is no electric or plug-in hybrid version.

At least that Buggy makes a helluva lot more sense than this EV Isetta clone:

It isn’t just Americans that are done with cars and want SUVs. And that is a sad day.

My Ami. Miami. Ah, the French comedy, rich.

Perfect car for your cottage/vacation home on the French coast and go to the beach with it. And the price is reasonable too. Pretty sure you can fit a surf board on the roof.

“Keep in mind that Citroën offered the My Ami Buggy only in France, and not throughout the EU”

Why do I love this so much?

Also, it looks looks like a cross between a snail and a frog wearing a beret, and may therefore be the most stereotypically French thing my dumb American brain has ever seen.

My bad on year: here is the car my father bought (not actual photo)

Here’s a 1987 Dodge Charger:

Tommy Chong is your dad?

My dad has never been a car person. But I always thought his 1980 Mercedes 240D was pretty cool.

Back in the 80s, he had a VW Bug with a Rolls Royce-style body kit like this:

My dad likes to tell us that his first car ever was a ‘64 1/2 Mustang, but by the time my siblings and I were around, his cars were mostly cheap second vehicle commuters or trucks.

1958 Chrysler 300D Convertible! This car had been in my dad’s family since new. It spent it’s life in way Upstate NY (Plattsburgh) and my dad took it over in the 80's. My grandpa who was like 75 at the time, and his buddy drove it down to Orlando from Plattsburgh to deliver it to my dad. It made it no problem!
That 392

My dad had a third-gen 200SX turbo. I remember being late for school one day, and that car feeling like an absolute rocket as we tried to get there as quickly as possible.

Aside from a Goldwing, and a Valiant before I was born, the Ford Probe GT 5 speed he had was probably the coolest. What’s great about this picture below, it also contains the car he currently has that brings shame and dishonor to our family. A Lexus SC430
