All used car prices are up, hasn’t anyone else noticed? I don’t believe that NADA can’t even keep up. I know that I can’t. NP

This:

Not bragging, but I’m realizing that I’ve lived in enough different places through time that this hasn’t been part of my experience.

Yeah, but we’re talking Kenny-off-the-tracks stuff with his movie theme songs. Those years.

Thanks, VinFast, for making modern-day Pontiac SUVs for everyone!

Thought the longest hood belonged to the 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo:

When they were still a new car I rode in the back of one identical to this, room enough for three regular-sized adults.

Uh, this came a few years after Mr. Loggins’ rise to fame in the 80s. Sorry.

If it’s all about ‘air conditioned comfort’ then why are the windows down?

1980 Ford Fiesta, 66 hp. Didn’t bother me at all because it was plenty of power to get me around and have fun, too. (Not my actual car shown, but close enough)

That’s what alerted them to it being the wrong grille, as it made a giant whoosh sound as the air passed through it.

Still remember the story of my grandfather bringing home a Dodge Omni to show Grandma, who spotted that there was a Horizon badge on one side. Ooops.

Heck, I’d have paid $3000 for this Celebrity wagon. NP all day long.

When I was in college, I very nearly bought a ‘75 Manta, — white with blue vinyl top, blue interior and an automatic. Didn’t like the idea of an auto, so I passed.

I would love for a quick and easy train down to, say, Spartanburg, SC, to go check out BMW’s fleet of historic vehicles down there. If I take Amtrak, though, it’s 14 hours. If I fly, it’s a two-hour shot to Charlotte and then a 50-minute hop to Spartanburg. America is not really ready for this kind of action.”

Did anyone else say this already?

Was hoping this would’ve been on sale prior to this year. Really wanted to buy one. Oh well, at least now there’s a vehicle I can buy as a used one in a few years.

Could it be that the reason Chevy no longer offers their version of the NV200 is that this will replace it? Maybe even in the US?

Let’s be honest with ourselves... Taking the kids with you to Home Depot and picking up some lawn care equipment will be where this truck wins. Why pay for an SUV when you get basically the same versatility?

Applause to Ford for making this people mover in a fun color! And the throwback interior color is great. Pontiac used to have a purple interior in the late 70s/early 80s Bonneville and Model G.
