Wanted to buy a new Maverick, but they kept pushing back the intro date. Wound up at the Ford dealer anyway and nabbed a nearly-new loaded 4wd Escape Titanium for the price of a base Fusion.

At half the price, we could at least start talking since it has low mileage and is so very clean. And rare.

Sounds like the owner is working hard to get the $6k he invested back into his pocket.

For the 1999 model year, Plymouth made only one model of the Breeze. It wasn’t really a stripper with power windows, a/c, etc., so even by late 90s standards it was a well-equipped car at a low price.

Watch out, as EVs in the near future will likely be 3D printed cars that are familiar to us already in metal or fiberglass form, instead of stuffing electric motors in old cars (see Zelectric). If you’re going to sell a niche vehicle, why not sell every one that you can?

One thing I’ll never be able to do is convince anyone that this is a Nice Price deal of epic proportions. But I’ll give it a go.
