This quacks me up.

Maverick is also the name of the ranch originally owned by Henry Ford.

Ask magazine and advertising photographers, they must know something because cars of that time period are EVERYWHERE.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that...

Certainly, you never get back the money you invest in any car, but isn’t this price okay given the $3k paint job?

Same advertisement people, seeing it’s all GM... Right?

What’s with the drippy taillamp details, like the one on the high-line Camrys? They look like they’re melting. Oh well, so much for the ‘American influenced’ design elements.

When you said Audi was offering nose jobs, I was sure that you meant some way to revamp the grille and headlamps.

This is the stuff Legends are made of.

So lovely to drive. Missed out on owning one.

from the well-loved Wikipedia files:

“We have this policy of destocking [the dealers] so the urgency [to restart] is not as great,” Mr Palmer said.

Sorry, no Corvette engines for the cars coming out of the Malaise Era. V-8s, yes — Corvette engines, no  -- only if a shade-tree mechanic did it.

You know, I wasn’t unusually tall for my age at 5 but somehow I could reach the brake pedal on my grandpa’s ‘63 Catalina to help him bleed the brakes. That’s as close to driving I ever got at that age.

Collectible car going for collectible car money. If you collect antique Honda cars. Yikes. CP

Use an Elton John record to sell their cars: Everybody sing!

Reluctantly, I voted NP owing to the truck’s overall condition, only to realize that the seller doesn’t even know how many cylinders lie under the hood. CP now.

Now that Ford, GM and FCA basically have zero cars under $20k, it’s less likely to be a problem. Of course, all of the Asian manufacturers are sure to be the winners in that market segment.
