You choose your car off of your least frequent trip? People with the money for this car are grabbing a flight and a rental. Lucid is obviously not looking at the same segment as the volt. That said the Volt is an under rated car. It’s really very good.

Weight and drag are efficiency killers, though I’d say wheel width can be just as bad. A wide 19" can have the same effect as a narrow 21". But yeah, I’d probably try and knock it down to 18" with a little more sidewall just to help out the ride.

People already made that choice with gas cars around 400 miles when the German tried to offer up diesels. 

“Only 520 miles? Needs to be 1,000. If it were 1,000, I’d buy one tomorrow.”

This EV won’t work for me because the commute to my job is 20 miles each way and once I get there they don’t give me enough money to buy this car.

I’ll be patiently waiting in the comments for someone to come say how this EV won’t work for them because their commute is 600 miles each way in the snow towing a 12,000lb trailer.

What are you talking about? They smell like soap, feel like a plastic bag filled with some kind of gel and none of those colors occur in nature. How could it be any less like a food?

There is literally nothing they could do to make those laundry pods look, feel, and smell more like a delicious treat than they already do. If they were setting out to make people want to eat them, there is nothing more they could have done to further that end.

oh I’ve got them. I held one up for my 5 year-old son and asked him if it looked delicious. He said yes enthusiastically.

The off-brand Costco pods smell and feel just as good but are just little over-stuffed rectangles, much less appetizing.

Tide could just make the pods look less appetizing, but that might reduce profit so, impossible.

Best to be clear in these cases: IF YOU WANT TO EAT DETERGENT PODS THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG WITH YOU. Go see a doctor.

I don’t know much about top level NASCAR tech, but the cars are probably weighed with the drivers in them. That’s how most racing series check weight.

Probably too many cameras to keep track of and take care of, that’s a lot of cars they would need cameras for.

Why don’t they all just have cameras in the cars now?
