Not clicking through that paywall, but even from the headline it seems kind of dumb. The rules and laws around weed are quite clear and spelled out, if you want to be perfectly safe stay within those laws. What isn’t clear and gets murky is the enforcement of those laws and the TSA’s desire to do so.
