That’s a really good point about the safety features being vulnerabilities. They would be super easy to exploit. I wonder if crime would rise because of how easy it is though.. Probably a bit.

Consider that most of these vehicles won’t be owned by individuals but instead by companies that sell their service. In my experience as a service tech and shop owner, fleets are maintained very well and have far fewer breakdowns because of it. If anything these vehicles will probably be kept in better condition
