Because......it's Lindy West.

I am a Packers fan, and I am quite over it. In fact, I was rooting for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl (mainly because I knew it would make Harbaugh and Kaepernick cry such sweet tears).

Well, it is quite strange that many of those fans seemed to disappear during the late Jeff Garcia and Alex Smith years, only to magically reappear when they suddenly started playing well again.......

The best part of these conspiracy theories is the fact that they actually think the NFL would favor a team in Seattle over a team in California, let alone a team in California that has loads of bandwagon fans across the country due to the glory days of Montana, Rice and Young, and the Super Bowl trip last year.

Though I don't want to feed the troll, there's a difference between "thinking (some aspect of) women's sexuality is sexy" and "thinking women's sexuality exists solely for your personal pleasure."

Boogie Nights, The Master, Magnolia, Charlie Wilson's War, etc. etc. etc.

Then you have terrible taste in movies.

Nickelback, Avril Levigne, Celine Dion, Bryan Adams.

I see those sorts of comments on any story/comment thread talking about vagina smell, and they're almost always ignored/rec'd.

Disingenuous? I quoted the author's comment directly. Did you bother even reading it? Or would you just rather post that link 5 more times without reading everything he says?

Hell, in the comment section for that first link, the author says....and I quote.... "It depends entirely on what you mean by the word “cure”. For me a “cure” is when a condition is resolved forever by a short term treatment – like an antibiotic taken over a few days will cure your sore throat – when you stop the

Where did I misquote you? When I said that you stated "That the fat person who is fat due to overeating and laziness is actually pretty rare."

Your first link doesn't back up your assertion that "diet and exercise don't treat obesity." It simply states that a formerly obese person will have to keep up their diet and exercise in order to keep the weight off. That if you drop from 200 to 120 lbs, you can't just start eating as much and exercising as little

Oh yes, I must have "fatphobia" to call BS on the idea that it is "rare" to find someone who is obese due to lack of exercise and unhealthy eating.

"8] Research has shown again and again that diet and exercise does not work in treating obesity."

But there is a world of difference between "develop a thyroid condition at some point in their lifetime" and "develop a thyroid condition that will leave the person permanently obese, unable to lose any weight with a combination of healthy eating and reasonable exercise." The latter is the type of "thyroid problem"

"Your point seems to be just to shame and shake your finger at the behavior of complete strangers about whom you'd otherwise not give a shit."

Ah yes. The old "Awards=good!" argument. Which is why I just love, love, love Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory. Clearly, Jon Crier and Jim Parsons must be the best actors of this generation. They have the awards, after all.

"Your analogy to white racists is interesting, because the people objecting to the article are to my eyes almost exclusively gay men whose primary reaction has been to point the finger at straight women. Who is trying to deflect, again?"
