I love your use of language in this piece, throughout. However, you can’t sacrifice FACT to flowers. See re:

I love that, most of the way through S2, she’s still doing this. In the most recent episode (2.14) “Vesper” had a deliciously (!) dry crack about zombies in a church: “I hope they’ve had their last supper.”

I don’t consider myself an especially tearful person, but several can usually get me (some if I just think about them for very long!)

The ending didn’t ruin it for me (quite possibly because I saw it coming), but I do find myself wanting to compartmentalize the first 8 and 5/6ths episodes, from the last 1 and 1/6th (I can pretend clown-face boy is just another Elegant Squatch-type character).

I had a feeling the ending would be really meta—-not only from the ending of the previous ep (speaking of which: I never really got why that one was called “The Creator” . . . but did it tie into this one being “The Boy”? The Creator is The Boy grown up, which is to say Segal?). But also because Segal, in interviews…

For my money, there’s no “Cake vs Pie”. There’s only a piece of A cake, compared to a slice of A pie. Specifics! [9 times out of 10, like Peter (I think), I’m going to want to sample some of both]

This show is Just Too Beautiful. Congrats, Clara, I think this show accomplished your vision!
