Thank you. I don’t get why so many people go with blended, overpriced stuff like Johnnie Walker when there are so many great single malts at similar prices. I’m a fan of Glenmorangie Nectar d’Or myself.

Alright, Cubs. If I can read and agree with an entire HamNo article for the first time ever, you guys can certainly win the World Series.

Regarding picture #9...what exactly is the purpose of a pumpkin cooler that only holds 3-4 bottles of beer?

If his actions led to the deaths of two people, then yes, it makes him much shittier of a person. Don’t fucking drink/use drugs and drive. It’s that simple.

But according to most of the idiots around here, we’re just uptight, judging assholes who think the kids shouldn’t have fun! Who cares if their stupid decisions result in two other people being killed?

I’m willing to bet that if this was some random schmuck, you’d be just fine with reading about it in the paper.

It absolutely matters, even if he wasn’t driving. Was I the only one who was taught growing up that you simply don’t get into a car/other vehicle if the driver has been drinking or doing drugs?

And deservedly so. Just because someone’s own stupidity kills them doesn’t mean that they were being any less dumb. Should we be blaming the rocks for getting in the way of the boat, or the drunk and high dude who was driving too fast?

Uh, this isn’t about “having fun.” It’s about putting other people’s lives in danger. Drunk/high boating is no different than driving in the same condition. I really don’t understand how so many people are rushing to defend this guy. If it was some random journeyman player, most of you would just be making off-color

So in your opinion, either riding with drunk/high people or piloting a boat while high and drunk smacks of great character and maturity?

Sure. You can also make stupid, stupid decisions. Either he decided to ride in the boat with people who were under the inflence (poor decision) or he drove it himself while intoxicated while carrying passengers (incredibly stupid decision that he should be deservedly shamed for.)

Even more so in light of the idiotic statement made by the police that “alcohol and drugs were not a factor” immediately after the accident, based on no evidence at all.

Then you should try reading it again. Nothing he wrote says what you “read.”

Care to point to a source on that? (An actual source, not just the police making uninformed comments based on no evidence like “alcohol was not a factor.”)

Are you kidding? They absolutely would. You can’t seriously say that a sober person would be just as likely to get into a vehicle driven by someone under the influence (of drugs/alcohol/both) as someone also intoxicated.

Have you guys seriously devolved into the ultra clickbaity Buzzfeed-style “___ thing gives you the most ___!” of writing headlines? I really didn’t think the bar could get any lower around here. Guess I was wrong.

Floating the idea of expulsion for an unavoidable hit may be the dumbest thing that’s ever been written in a Deadspin comment section.

Found the PETA weenie

I’ll do ya one better:

Even for Deadspin, that’s a fucking stretch, buddy.
