That was my reaction as well...it’s not like AirBnbs are hard to find in nicer parts of LA. Heck, I just booked one for my parents over Thanksgiving in West Hollywood that was incredibly cheap and gorgeous.

THIS! There was such a painfully obvious way to avoid this whole damn situation without consequence (with the added benefit of annoying this customer, who seems like a total weenie as well). Literally all they had to do was say “sorry, must have misheard” if the guy raised a stink about it.
