Unfortunately, yes. Over 7 years of ownership, I had more days with lights on than I did with them off.

Mine is just starting to recover. It has PTSD, though.

I’ve never gotten the “it sounds terrible” thing. It’s a different kind of V10 sound than say a Huracan or F2004, but it still sounds damn good to my ears.

I’ll agree with you there. Purely from a design perspective, I’d take a 99/00 GTS over anything else. If I’m factoring interior quality and reliability in as well, I’d probably go current gen. The middle gen is definitely the red-headed step child.
