I never said I advocated getting directly involved. I just don’t agree with the OP’s assertion that the rider should just mind his own business and ignore it. That’s idiotic.

When people I share the road with engage in dangerous/stupid behavior, it's my business.

I see people texting and driving all the time and I'm never quite sure what to do. Part of me wants to honk at them, but I don't want to startle them and cause an accident.
