Miles might be optimistic. But if they’re actually going to go ahead with this insanity, why not harm the party’s ‘enemies’ while doing it?

GOP leaders are expected to walk back on the cuts, searching around for a funding source that won’t be quite so politically toxic to pull money from.
Heh, I worked with Rory for 3 years back when he was wasting away at a shitty office job. To see his face here is, certainly surprising.
In general, he doesn’t tell anyone anything meaningful onscreen. At least it looks like he helped out his sisters, though it’s not clear if they even needed it.
I am satisfied with this answer.
In the midst of this war against the dead, why is Bran’s greatest concern telling Jon that he’s the legitimate king? How does that help in an existential war against the dead?
Yeah, after Charlottesville, I had a feeling the orange one would create the next unprecedented scandal himself within a week to divert attention from the previous one. And now a hurricane (and his administration’s likely mishandling of it) will get minds off Arapaio and the transgender ban.
Natural libertarian life cycle.
Thankfully, the driver wasn’t hurt.
Which unfortunately only brings up the problem of coverage overlap.
They replaced a functioning website, with a blog.
Speaking of which, it’s so confounding to see a real website discarded and remade to look like a goddamned blog.
With the possible exception of Jalopnik, I think there’s a lot of overlap with all the other sites.
Huh, I didn’t know there was any kind of sorting going on with kinja.
I want to believe this, but 'unprecedented' scandals have happened so many times over the past year. The political leadership has denounced one of trump's comments/tweets practically every month, and the only thing I've noticed is that the media no longer bothers covering Democratic responses; seeking out only symbols…
Thanks, it is indeed a very illuminating and interesting read. Although being from May, it might as well have been written years ago in terms of trump scandals. Goddamned depressing how, based on his history, recent events will only further cement his base, and he'll likely face no real repercussions for this one…
Going to earn some ridicule for this, but I'll admit that until recently, I thought of trump merely as a fame-seeking con man; angling for nothing more than a cushy Fox News gig by telling the ignorant what they wanted to hear (the oldest trick in the salesman book), he never wanted to end up in the WH.
Ugh, please stop giving this guy press attention.
Welp, time to load Deadwood up for another run.
The part that did it for me came much earlier, when we see a propaganda/news video where a schoolteacher was encouraging her wards to maniacally kill a bunch of harmless (Earth) cockroaches as part of the home effort.
