My biggest gripe with Japanese online markets is how most of them block foreign credit cards. Add to the fact that prepaid debit cards aren’t a thing in Japan it makes buying stuff online really harder than it should be.

You should mention that this isn’t exactly a new, inventive idea. Mos Burger has been doing this forever, and they’re delicious.

The Chinese highlighted in red says “super-large boxers for fat westerners”

Just how reliable is this information? Does the WSJ have a good track record with gaming news or is this just a shot in the dark?

I just write a line through the tip line and write down the correct total (plus tip). When you have a smartphone to do the math for you it’s easier to just calculate the total.

No, this guy was just a reseller. The people who made the cards are in China, which Taiwan has no jurisdiction over.

For me the most desired specialty item from McD’s is fried chicken, available in Taiwan. It’s hands down the most amazing fried chicken I’ve ever had from any fast food joint.

I’ve followed this story somewhat closely, and I’ve learned a few things that’s been pieced together by fans from (deleted) social media postings.

It’s not something that’s surprising to any of his fans; he’s been doing this 10-installment plan for a few times now. He even mentioned that he has the next 10 installments sketched out, implying that next time it will be the same as well.

Because Gundam is one of the few giant mecha franchises that actually releases new content regularly.

Realistic looking Pokemon = nightmare fuel

I just learned that Conan O’Brien and Hideo Kojima are the same age.

In Taiwan, that’s the sound of the garbage pickup truck. Just FYI ;)

I want to go to that monster hunter room. Not to sing, but to hunt ;)

Video games are a great way to learn any foreign language. My Japanese improved immensely, especially speech, when I played the Persona games.

It’s supposed to be 30 + 121 lol.

One thing I’m curious about is does this eliminate the blind spots? With mirrors blind spots exist because of the physics of the optics, but with cameras I’d assume it wouldn’t have the same problem.

The only kind of hot dog I enjoy have natural casings (intestines). You just can’t beat the satisfaction of biting into something that doesn’t just crumble when met with teeth.

So true about the “thoughts and prayers”. When airplanes crash does the FAA just say “thoughts and prayers”? When drugs cause problems does the FDA just say “thoughts and prayers”? No, they do not, and they get their shit together to make sure the same thing doesn’t happen again. But when it comes to guns NOTHING

You have the same problem with Harry Potter, too?
