Scraping the paint on branches and shit

It’s not that bad...

Yep, I DD a ‘04 S600 and once ABC is fixed it's truly a wonderful car.

Yep, but the M137 powered models... You couldn’t pay me to deal with that shit.

Hey Doug. As a owner of a 12 year old Biturbo V12 Mercedes I can say with some reason that the extended warranty really won’t do you much good on a car that really needs it. None of the plans I looked at would have covered 90% of the things that have broken on my car(ABC).

495 ish. It's what my S600 has, though I'd love to give it a renntech tune.

Ummm. Airmatic and ABC, Bi turbo and M137. WAT

Oh god ! Someone put rocks in thier blender ?

I didn't actually. I will though.

I have... It sounds like an appliance.

Nope. The V12 has 2 $1500 coil packs every 60-100,000 miles.

That's what it would seem like sadly...

Was it that way when you bought it ? Because the W126 chassis (made until 1991) is famed for its excellent reliability if properly maintained like a normal car. it sounds like you got either A. a lemon or B. A very poorly maintained example. I urge you to reconsider the hate on Mercedes, it sounds like it should be

Well, my 2004 S600 is at 85,000 miles and the engine runs like a top. There is maintenance you need roughly every 60,000 miles(coilpack, intercooler pump). I bought mine about a year ago and have since put $3800 into it, for a ABC high pressure line, a intercooler pump, and a idler belt pulley. What year was your S

What about a Mercedes S600

Exactly! You were spot on when you classified the above as MBT/mediums. And I agree with what a MBT should be.

Yup. I just didn’t know where to put it as the Conqueror, IS-8/T-10, and M103 were still being made, which would push the others down to medium.

The M1 is cool, but the gas turbine was the wrong way to go. Diesel or sail power...

I'd agree with you there, with the possible exception of the challenger 2, which entered service in 1998.
