Just as I thought. I think it's down in kasota . I was out there a few summers ago for a friends birthday party.

Yep, it is a chieftain. English gen 1 MBT(gen 2 if you count the centurion)

Is that the one in Minnesota?

It’s a throwback to the old 300 sl race cars of yore

Yes, have you sat in a new CT6 ? I sat in a mid range version at the autoshow and interior materials are noticeably worse than my 12 year old S class. Rear space is much worse as well.

It's confusing, just like everything else about ABC

Hydropnumatic or nothing. ABC is annoying when it breaks, but simply magical when it is working.

Nooooooooo

Give it a V12 pls

The E class is the only one who's design has even come close to holding up over time.

Nope ! The top picture isn’t mine

Hnnnng designo wood

I need to do that on my S600. I've removed the trunk liner and will order the new pump soon. Any tips ?

Nice ! Though if I ever lose a ABC strut I'm going through arnott industries for it.

Quite: ask me how I know

My 2004 S600 did the exact same thing last fall. That was a $1000 fix... ABC/power steering was gone, along with the alternator and all the other bits on that belt .

Do it. Just try to find one with no ABC issues and full service records . I really want a W126 560 sel/sec but I similarly can’t pull the trigger on one.

Quite.

Yup ! You must be really smart !

It was just a bit of a wonky engine. Instead of designing a good engine to replace the bulletproof M120 they designed a cheap engine. They went from a 48v dohc 6.0l to a 36v dohc 5.8. It actually made less power than the M120 it replaced. And along with the cylinder deactivation it was just a poorly designed engine.
