Yes, it's a horrifically bad engine. They replaced it in 2003 with the M275 5.5 bi-turbo.

Yep ! Or any puddle or stain under the car, even if it’s dirty water from ice/slush melting. Owning a V12 is stressful lol.

Oh Jesus. How did you get pentosin to boil ? Mine’s never done that. And I completely agree on the cheap part. Anyone who buys a very cheap car with ABC is gonna eat shit. You need to find a good, well sorted example if you have any hopes of keeping it or your bank account balance for any period of time.

Unless you buy a properly sorted one and do recommended preventative maintenance.

Oh god. That car is worth mayyyybe $6,000 tops to get it sorted out. Coming from a S600 owner.

Ok then, I'm happy with that resolution... And I drive a S600. MOAR V12

The auto journalists reviewed the genesis and found it to be a better car to drive than the 5/E class. What do you drive then?

It’s been tested as a better car than the 5 series/ E class. And I bet you that my car is much more “soulful” than whatever it is you drive.

Why ? If it's an abjectly better car for less money , why not ?

It is crazy cool. My S600, which weighs the best part of 5000 pounds, handles better than it has any right to while being superbly comfortable.

Including one of my S600

Yeah. But the MBC is just a more complicated ABC. And what sort of W220 do you have ?

It can be a bit horrific sometimes

A 2004 S600

Are you sure ? It is very expensive to fix when it breaks. Ask me how I know.

I have a car with the predecessor to MBC and you can't feel expansion joints at 100 mph

The pre ‘03 220 series cars were poorly built dogs . I implore you to give a facelifted W220 a try. I love my ‘04 S600 and have no quality issues apart from the mirror cover on the front sun visors.

Well, I have a 2004 S600 designo. They made 250 for 2004, and mine is one of about 30 in the world configured like it is. Originally it was a $12,000 option, but it hardly adds anything to the re sale.
