I’m a social studies teacher, and teaching civics one year I brought in a friend of mine who has been an aide for the U.S. House & Senate to talk to the kids. One student asked her what the most realistic political TV show is, and she answered in 100% seriousness “Veep.”

Maybe two things are true: (1) Haggis assaulted women, mostly while a Scientologist (with or without Scientology itself playing a role); and (2) Haggis, now being a prominent critic of Scientology, is now that much more of a walking target.

I give him a little leeway on that because filling time on the radio is hard to do.
